Frequently Asked Questions

Why doesn't my key fob work?

If you know your dues are current, please contact management (see HOME PAGE) and let them know so this can be corrected.  If your dues are more than 30 days late or your privileges have been suspended, your key fob may have been disabled until the infraction has been cleared.

Can the pool be reserved?

No.  There are no exceptions to this rule.  All members (whose dues are current) are entitled to pool access during normal operating hours (9am ~ 10pm, 7 days / week).  Granting pool reservations would interfere with this.

Why do we have surveillance cameras?

They're there for your protection as well as that of the Swim and Recreation Center.  They constantly record but there is no live monitoring until after hours.  Should an incident occur, the recordings can and have been used to enforce the rules.

When do I pay my dues?

Dues are billed twice a year and are due January 1st and July 1st.  They're considered late after 30 days.  Checks should be payable to and remitted to:

Firewheel Swim & Recreation Assoc., 5435 N. Garland Ave, Suite 140, Garland, Tx 75040.

Why is the pond so low?

Investigation and re-engineering is currently underway to eliminate or reduce a leak that has existed since the development of this area in 1999.  Please see POND UPDATE on the home page for more details.
